There are times that we really wish that all of you who pray and support the mission of passion life could be with us in the field and we had one of those moments again last week when we were able to present a brand new handheld ultrasound unit to a pregnancy center in Quito, Ecuador. This center has been around for a while. We’ve just only gotten to know them in this current year and we were very encouraged to find them there as we begin to teach pastors our four questions and to mobilize more churches around the rescue of the innocent. We want to see them form a pregnancy help ministries of some kind and sometimes we find that they are already there but they’re not very well connected to a lot of the churches so sometimes it goes in the opposite direction. We start with churches and that leads to pregnancy centers. Sometimes we find a pregnancy center and we try to get it reconnected to the local churches. So that’s what’s going on down in Quito, Ecuador right now and we were delighted to be able to find this pregnancy ministry that’s saving a lot of babies and present them with a brand new handheld ultrasound unit along with an iPad. This is how they work together and I thought it would be enjoyable for you to actually see us presenting it to them and of course it’s in Spanish and so we had to edit it a little bit so that you could see it and understand it in English but I think that you’ll enjoy this sweet moment where we are presenting this ultrasound to this new ministry that we have found in Quito. Hello, good afternoon. I’m Ginny Pernea with a new program at Un Cafestito con Ginny. Today I want to invite you to meet a sister in Christ, Amparo, who is in charge of an organization, a foundation called “Crescendo Contigo Mujer”. Today we have had the privilege of coming here to Quito, Ecuador. To bring you a gift that when we came here about seven months ago we had the opportunity to see that they had a very, very old ultrasound unit that had saved many lives. But that stayed in my heart with the desire to bring something that was going to be much more practical and that I know that it will save many more babies. So today I present it to you with this gift Amparo. Thank you. It gives us so much joy to be part of what is happening here in Quito, Ecuador. I want to thank all the brothers of you personally because for 15 years the Lord has put in our hearts the question of whether it’s okay to say no to abortion, whether it’s okay to declare you a prophet, but what are you doing with those pregnant mothers who are going through situations of abuse, violence, abandonment, mistreatment, who have even been kidnapped, hired by people and who are pregnant and this unexpected pregnancy is putting them between abortion and them. So we decided with the Lord to say yes, to be a faithful of our hearts and since the Lord put us in this ministry of proof, he has allowed us to reach many of these mothers and through the iconography, sign the sign that his baby is hearing the heartbeat of the heart. And of course our apparatus is old, it’s very big, we made festivals where we put the heartbeat of the heart in direct and direct with very strong speakers and many women saying that they were about to abort and when the baby is born I’m not going to do it anymore. And now with this apparatus we are not only going to be able to reach markets, markets, but also direct, to be able to go with the mother and through the table and the apparatus, imagine what it is, enter the box in the pocket and be able to make the mother look, hear her baby, that’s wonderful, the joy, the face, how do you illuminate these mothers, right now we just finished that, the face of seeing your son, your womb is something that transforms the heart of all mothers because we all know that we are pregnant with children and when we abort we abort children. Thank you. So thanks for this opportunity to share what life passion is doing here in Quito Ecuador. Thanks to Ampar. Thanks to the passion, my dear, thanks to Ampar because together we can help many mothers. Thanks. And here’s a picture of how the handheld and the ultrasound work together. It’s very, very personal, it’s intimate, it can be done in an office, it can be done on a sofa in somebody’s living room. You can carry these things in your backpack and they allow the woman to see her baby right on the ultrasound as you can see on the iPad as you can see in this picture here. So we have distributed about 12 or 13 of these in this current year and we have several more that we hope to distribute over the next three to six months. But I think this is one of the things that we should thank God for because we’re really empowering the Christians to carry out the call to rescue the innocent. So I just want to see what you’re, I want you to know what your prayers and your generosity is accomplishing in faraway places. I want you to see it up close and personal. Thank you.
